US: 86% of the AI jackpot!
ALSO : Reddit Sues Anthropic

Hi Synapticians!
Between February and May 2025, U.S. AI start-ups swallowed up 86 % of the sector’s global venture capital; nearly $70 billion; despite federal cutbacks, tighter visa rules, and the trade war orchestrated from Washington.
Europe, for all its talk of becoming a “world leader,” attracted only $6.4 billion. Its unicorns (Mistral, H, Aleph Alpha) have yet to ignite the hoped-for stampede, while Asia tops out at $3 billion; a modest number whose reliability is in doubt, given China’s opaque statistics.
Neither Donald Trump’s decrees nor Geoffrey Hinton’s blistering tweet at Elon Musk have scared off VCs: in their eyes, supersized returns are still minted on the far side of the Atlantic—Doge or no Doge. 😉
